Here's my newest addition to Skypainter - Bastiann. He is the youngest brother of King Lorccan and he is a commander at war, specializing in martial arts and weaponry, unlike his brother and nephew, who are mainly archers.
He's slightly based on a man that I once loved very dearly - but a bit different, considering he's an elf and a warrior.
Bastiann is a war-scarred prince, who has different views on the war than his brother, the King of Arainnia. This deems bad news for him the end, but I will be continuing his story with a sequel where he goes nomadic toward the monk peaks of Gargonia, the dividing peaks of Arainnia and Gargonia. Elvish monks and priests studied gemstones, scrolls and eternal life up there near the heavens.
He fell in love with Flora's mother when he was young, after meeting her with his brother, the King, who was best friends with Killian Silverfield. Bastiann loved Flora like he'd never known, but knew she was betrothed to Killian. When the King discovered that Bastiann and Flora had exchanged love letters, he banished Bastiann to commanding rank until further notice, stationed thousands of miles away from his love. He then discovered that his love had been murdered, therefore stayed in Gargonia until he could no longer take it.
